Im currently in the process of attending a 1 year course to become a lineman in Miami, Florida. I have read every post pertaining to FPL and would like some advice by an FPL employee regarding training & work conditions. What should I expect on a daily basis?..Is OT & slavework a reality and to what extent?...How are employees enrolled in college scheduled?...In order to enroll in an university through FPL-Are there requirements?...I have to attend a climbing class before taking a year long course in order to be hired. I have posted here to hear views from actual employees & not recruiters from FPL who might sweeten the truth. Thanks for any responses.
