I'm looking forward to getting into linework and i'm wondering if it is better to have a class A cdl or if a B is good enough?

Obviously it is better to have a Class A License but don't volunteer that you have one or you will be doing alot of driving instead of working in the field where you should be. Having a class A license might be the determining factor of keeping you on a job or getting a different job

Go for ur A, Having a B license is wasteful, going for ur A will determine if u have a job or if u have bench....

All you have to do is ask yourself "What kind of hand do I want to be?"
If the answer is "Good enough".???????
Get the Class A, and good luck!

Sooner or later you are going to have to haul a trailer that has a weight rating over 10,000 pounds. Got to have an A rating to do that so might as well get it now and be done with it. That way you will only have to take the road test once. If you upgrade from a B to an A later you are going to have to go through the testing twice.
