I'm going to my 90 day school in september...I have been practicing for about 3 months or so with a lineman i know. Any advice anyone can offer? Or tips?

Don't be in a hurry, your time will come
Cover you're ass , if it don't seem right, don't do it.
Find that ol lineman that makes it look easy and knows his shit and learn all you can from him.

Things to take:

1. Ace bandages
2. potassium tab's
3. Ibuprofen

yeah i heard the ace bandages or maxi pads. I think ill stick with the ace bandages. Thanks Perk.

LOL - I was on a line-crew for about 2-3 weeks before I went to climbing school & a bunch of the Journeymen told me about using Maxi-Pads, I never could tell if it was a set-up or legitimate advice & still don't know for sure.

Do everything with a will. If you don't understand something, a few after hours study sessions never hurt. You can squeak through tests without really understanding the material, so it's important that you make sure you really have it down, or everything will vanish out of your head the day class ends (funny how that happens, huh?).

And like Koga said..if something doesn't seem right, don't do it. If you have reservations about what you're going to do, make sure you speak up. A lot of on the jobs accidents could have been prevented this way, I'm sure.
