How did you guys do in negotiations? Did they whack company retirement?

Patriot.....I only have 2nd and 3rd hand info on what 659 settled for on the pension. As soon as I get a hold of the actual language I will post it. It did sound like the defined benefit plan for new hires is gone for sure. I dont work under the 659 agreement, but pretty close by.

I heard they froze the retirement but added % to the 401K. Being that if you are 53 or 56:D , whatever your retirement is at that time, that is what it will be when you go out the door.

I guess if we want to get an extension to our contract, we will have to accept 659's retirement plan. Doesn't sound to good. Cashed out, rolled into a 401 and a little more on the match to the 401. And no more company retirement.

No it is just froze, and it will have no growth. With a few percentage added to the 401. I was told that is what 659 accpeted.
