Default Boric Acid Drop Out Fuses

    Featured Sponsor

Has anyone used these or currently using these? We have just got them in to be used in high fire risk areas. They also mention they are more resilliant during electrical storms and the memo out states that they must be replaced for each fuse operation I hope that doesn't mean they self destruct every time you open a drop out fuse and is only referring to when they blow...
From the pole to the hole and both sides of the meter....

    Default boric fuses

Boric acid fuses (some folks call em sand fuses) dont have an open arc when the blow open... you refuse em by replacing the boric acid "cartridge" or on some types the whole fuse body.
