Do these rodeos let you make your own team and compete as like just lineman and not representing a utility? You know like a tramp team

We compete representing our local and no specific entity. Our hall is our main sponsor but we get help from contractors and vendors to help cover some of the costs that are involved. There are a few venues that only allow utilities or co-ops to compete. These are usually their own qualifiers for the International. If interested the WCLR (linemansrodeo.com) has an entry deadline of Feburary 28th for free entry into their rodeo April 25th. It's a good rodeo and a great time.

Yes nutbuster is correct, we will allow mixed linemen from different companies to compete. But take in mind we also have individual events if you cant find anyone for a team. We are free to compete this year but you have to act fast or we have to charge. With the way the economy is these days, I just hope we can go on this year. There are some that have had to cancel already due to lack of sponsors and lack of teams.
