It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration.

There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning!

He was being drilled by a senator; 'Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?'

Ollie replied, 'Yes, I did, Sir.'

The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, 'Isn't that just a little excessive?'

'No, sir,' continued Ollie.

'No? And why not?' the senator asked.

'Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir.'

'Threatened? By whom?' the senator questioned.

'By a terrorist, sir' Ollie answered.

'Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?'

'His name is Osama bin Laden, sir' Ollie replied.

At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but
couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt.. Then the senator continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?' the senator asked.

'Because, sir, he is the most
evil person alive that I know of', Ollie answered.


'And
what do you recommend we do about him?' asked the senator.

'Well, sir,
if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to
eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth.'

The senator
disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip.

By the way, that senator was Al Gore!

Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked us by
flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center.. This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified. It was censored in the US from all later

North is a patriot just as Benedict Arnold was. As for North, He was a scumbag, he is a scumbag, and will always be a scumbag. You both have something in common.

North made Bin laden. Reagan made Bin laden. The U.S. Government made Bin laden. When they didn't need him anymore they threw him away. That sort of disrespect kinda stays with a radicalized, fanatical freedom fighter. Yep he should have been scared. But then again I think that North was attempting to place the attention away from him and his crimes as much as possible at the time. You know save his own a$$!

A small history lesson. We were not fighting the Russians. The place was known as the Union of Soviet Socialists Republic. U.S.S.R. or C.C.C.P. It ceased to be Russia in the Bolshevic revolution in the early 1900's. Again became Russia after the fall of the C.C.C.P. in the 1990's.

And we were not fighting them either. I guess I would know that since I was in the military during those Iran/Contra years. We were using the C.I.A to fortify and train those freedom fighters I mentioned earlier to fight the soviets in a guerilla style war. We did not win! The side we heavily supported with Billions of $$$$ caused the Soviets to retreat such as we did in Viet Nam.

And as Mr. North knows the United States has a law against assassinations of foreign leaders. We are not allowed. But breaking one more law to him is nothing big since he broke so many, to include lying to Congress. Maybe he was no longer considered a leader when we washed our hands of him.

So a little set back for Democracy would not bother you. So American blood is only a small set back for Democracy, but by God don't you touch my guns, and Dam the Government for taxing me. Screw you fu(kers with no health care.
