Ok I just called them and was told I was #37 in the pool and I interviewed last Sept. When I first got the acceptence letter I was #68 so I moved 31 spots =).I just hope I continue to move up and not back. Was that your same situation or did you keep moving back?

mine fluctuated back and forth about 8 spots for the longest time. thats after the adjustment of climbing class/new interviewers that scored higher than me. yours going down 31 spots is good, mine never adjusted that much. your getting in good range now. keep your head up.

from what i hear there is alot of work waiting to break loose at any time. according to outside reports 2010 will be a record year in electrical work for pg&e. theres also been some changes about jl's w/o a california license apparently can no longer sign the books here although i dont know the facts on that. im not sure if that will have any effect with apprentices though. the little research ive done shows that the amount of apprentices in calnev now compared to the last couple years is down nearly 100. if/when work picks up guess what? i do know 47 books 1#s have been dropping quite a bit lately. is work picking up????????

you dont even have your app in, based on what you wrote in another thread, and your already nervous about an interview that will be at least a year away

from what i remember this is what they asked me. there were more questions than this.

    why should we pick you?

do you know the travel involved?

what are you going to do if we dont pick you up right away?

do you want to work for a contractor or utility?

why dont you just go back to your previous job, you made good money there and probably didnt have anyone yelling at you?

    have you applied to pg&e?

do you have any questions for us?
