    IBEW Apprentice 1972, Topped out June 1976 and am still in my apprenticeship. Worked 500KV to the meter, worked all forms of generation except solar panels and all distribution voltages. And in my last five years of my apprenticeship I will work a DC line and help build solar generation. Union until I Die!!!!

    34 years and damn what a ride. Heavy construction Dist/Trans crew for 12 at a co-op in central Fl. Went contracting for the original Haverfield for 3.Supervised a transmission system in South Ga for 14 Went inside as Transmission operator for Ga Power and FPL. Then moved to cooler climate as Superintendent in Alaska. Been fun so far don't how anybody else makes a livin.
