Eau Claire (WQOW) - A fatal accident, involving a lineman for a power company, leaves investigators wondering what exactly happened.
Glenn Parker, 44, an Eau Claire native, was electrocuted Saturday. He worked for North Central Power Company out of Radisson. Parker, and another lineman, were working on restoring power after the storms in Sawyer County, when he came into contact with a live wire.
Parker grew up in Eau Claire and had been living in the Radisson area. The other lineman was not hurt.

Personal Voltage Detector....made by HD electric...little device you wear that works off of the magnetic field created by an energized conductor......when it sense the magnetic field of the conductor, an alarm goes off to warn you that you are close to an energized conductor/potential hazard............required eqpt at some utilities on storm restoration or outage work...
