    Ballgame, 21-0 ALABAMA!!!

Let the AP vote LSU #1 after this, that would be laughable! We just seen the BEST defense come out with the best showing in a title game ever. This reminded me so much of the 1992 game we had at the Sugar Bowl against Miami. They said we couldn't stop LSU in NOLA, they were undefeated, etc. and we shut them down and made it look easy.

I wished we could play Oklahoma State too so we could really shut them up. Bama or LSU would stomp them something serious.

I lived through one in 92, now 09 and 11. They never get old. Sure is fun to go through!

We'll probably be ranked high to start next year, but don't expect the same as this year. Our defense will more than likely get raked over the coals by the NFL.

    Offense:

LT #75 will be back (won the Outland Trophy this year as best lineman)
    LG #65 will be back
C #73 will leave due to graduation
    RG #61 will be back
    RT will be back
    QB will be back
RB will be gone, Trent will be a top 5 pick
H-Back/TE is gone due to graduation #17
    TE will be back #89
WR #15 is gone due to graduation
WR #4 is gone due to graduation
    WR #7 will be back

    Defense:

NG #99 is gone due to graduation
    DE #54 will be back
    DE #92 will be back
LB #5 will be gone due to graduation
MLB #30 will probably be gone to NFL Draft
MLB #35 should be back, could leave early for draft
LB #41 will be gone due to graduation
CB #24 will be gone due to graduation
CB #21 will be gone to the NFL Draft
FS #37 will be back, unless he goes to the NFL Draft
SS #4 will be gone due to graduation

As you see our defense will go down somewhat, but as much talent we have under them that has played a LOT of minutes this year we wont be a pushover.

As of right now I'd say early on probably a 11-1 record losing to LSU (depending on LSU's QB situation with Lee and Jefferson gone, or at least I think they are). We'll win at least 10 regardless. Anything more is just gravy. I say a BCS Bowl and go 12-1 overall.

Time to get ready for Michigan who is our home opener next year in Arlington Texas. Already got tickets and gonna take a caravan there in a few months to party hard and watch yet another win.

    Default Time for a playoff

Though I feel that the "best team" won the BCS championship, it's time for somekind of playoff. Let's start with the top 4 BCS schools playing each other. 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 then the winners playing for all the marbles.

    Default Big 10

Note to self, just because it pops into my head doesn't mean it should come out of my mouth.

duck what does that link have to do with anything?

Should I mention what we did to Michigan State last year? hehe

    wud,

We'd love a playoff. Matter of fact a few years ago the SEC Commish even tried to get the "plus one" passed and it was voted down. If people think the SEC was scared or is scared of it they might want to think again (not saying that's what you're saying).

Guess which one of the conferences voted it down? The Big12....

Now they want a playoff. Karma.

We welcome it, as this year the same two would have been there anyways. All these other conferences are just dreaming until they learn how to play defense (Big Ten is the closest to doing it IMHO). I thought Wisconsin would have made a run this year but even their defense was weak when it came to crunch time. Okie State? Not a chance. Stanford? Ha. Oregon? Been there and done that.

Something else that gets me is Gundy said OSU would have thrown 50 times on us. So? Bama easily has 5 or more NFL players right now on defense, throwing the ball with no running game what so ever would have been easy meat for us OR LSU.
