Thought of this today, back a few.....well more than a few years ago when they were building lines everywhere.......everyday.........back when apprentices and helpers were common.......it was just standard proceedure to pull the 600 mcm by hand when it was off the roads and a track machine wasnt available..................wonder when was the last time you guys did it that way...................boy,that was fun.
It was those standard procedures, working hard not smart that hurt alot of lineman over the years. Not something that we should look back fondly on. Got plenty of pals with blown shoulders knees and hips. Don't remind me of the good old days. I,m looking forward to a new day when nobody gets hurt in this trade. Screw this smart grid crap. Just give me crews, more manpower with the proper tools training and maintance of equipment
