Does anyone have any more information on the following story? Like the poor man's name? Thanks
EDISON, NJ 10/25/12 — Police are investigating a fatal accident today at a high-tension tower just south of Edison Glen on Route 1 involving two subcontracted workers for PSE&G, police Lt. Salvatore Filannino said.
It has been reportred that both men were employed by Tower Maintenance Corporation which had ben hired to paint the high-tension tower.
“One worker was up higher, apparently touched the high-tension wire and was electrocuted. As he fell, he took his partner with him,” Filaninno said. “They had no harnesses.”
Filaninno said the first man fell at least 50 feet after contacting the 26,000-volt wire and died.
“The other man is still alive and is in serious condition,” he said. “Both were taken by medevac helicopter to hospitals from the Home Depot parking lot.”
There was no identification on either worker, he said.

We were told from PSE&G that they had harnesses on, but were not clipped in. This accident happened 2-3 days before the storm, so it had nothing to do with it.

    Default Any More Info?

Is there any more information on this accident? It seems odd that neither worker had identification, according to the reported police quote.
The reports on this may be overwhelmed by Hurricane Sandy news.
