    Today's work in Wales . New guy fitting in we'll. he took the picture of me in the MEWP. IT LOOKS LIKE A SUNNY DAY IN THE PICTURE. It was bitter cold this afternoon especially when the wind whistled through. BRRRRRRRRRRR.

    Nice pictures, Bren, those insulators look like a huge pain in the arse to tie in to, who makes them?

    They are ok . Like most things there's a bit of a knack. Takes about 30minutes per pole. Can't remember the maker. I will have a look tomorrow .

    I hear you, still haven't seen an insulator easier to work with than the K-Line insulators.

    ummmmmm I've used theAGS on suspension insulators, bundeled conductors..... and they are a pain inna hind end didnt even know they made em for a standing insulator

    Utility I used to work at years ago used these on almost all their transmission system for all voltages. Suspension, horizontal post, vertical post, everything. Preform makes em. Called Armour Grip Suspension (AGS). Think they are a PITA putting them on by hand, try doing it with hotsticks!

    Bit of stringing today.

    Four angle sections in this pull. It means pulling the Middle up to tension.catching it off then dropping it back to make the jumper ... Pain in the @rse....

    We can only work with what we got Reppy .i can think of a few short cuts. But I only do what I'm told.
