Hey guys I interviewed with SCE about 5 months ago in Rosemead CA. Got the letter not even a week after the interview saying I am now qualified for a groundman posistion. What kind of time frame am I looking at to go work? The letter says "may" take 6 months or longer would like to know from some SCE guys how long it took them not being an employee already.

  2. Default sce groundman

a buddy of mine is an apprentice substation operator with sce and he said they won't be hiring till Jan. 09 for groundman.

Tuff to say. There are meter readers that are waiting for groundman jobs but they have to pass some test and a intro to climbing. Would be surprised if a Grunt job actually hits the street before it is filled in house.

    Good Luck
