Some smart Lawyer is going to find out why the protective equipment didn't lock out when the wire hit the ground. It may be because there wasn't enough fault current to trip but a few cars are cheap compared to lives.

If you notice at 1.23 seconds into the video there is the 4/0 twist/triplex...and yes that neutral is also the system neutral...all common in this area. There are places that have 1/0 and so on ,same deal, the neutral is the system.Poot has mentioned this before, guess it surprised him that it is all over this area.

Im not disagreeing with you,but here they wouldnt say its a trap...saying that ,they would blame the lineman, apprentice for cutting it ....its that common....this cant be the only place that it is common,or is it?

Thats so true....like cutting out a 3 phase service.....before cutting you tell a guy to mark the incoming phases so that you keep the same rotation.....some have forgotten to mark them....some have marked them on the conductors that are already marked.....and some will cut the color coded taped wires all together....then some will cut on one side on a 2-bolt clamp/splitbolt.....leaving no tail
