I could be wrong,but many of our pole top switches that come in crates have a red piece of angle iron.....installed vertically on an arm that some guys hang their handline on.....most times its just another piece of trash....not used often at all.:D

pOOT driving to the Houston area,thinking ...wow this new truck sure rides well and theres nothing like sipping a cold miller light on the way since its a clear fall day.As he gets in the area he takes his eyes off the road and looks at the distrubution lines.....He notices something that he aint seen b-4.....it happens to be red and on a pole that has a pole top switch on it.....His heart starts beating faster cause hes heard of the red thing before but never has seen it .......he grabs another miller light and wonders how something that was 3 feet up a bulls ass is now on a steel arm.He scathches the back of his head.....and wonders what its for.
