You guys working for utilities,do your foreman and supervisors get rotated to other centers like its done here,like every three years.The company wouldnt want them to get attached to the lineman that work for them ,now would they?:D

Yes the Grid did that. It seemed once they got used to the area and the crews they'd get bumped to another new area. The customer suffers the most because if people know their area well more gets done quicker!

Yes, they're rotated...... Before worst energy bought us out the foremen stayed put, knew the area, knew the circuits and it worked just fine. Now they move them around so they never know where they'll be...... Could be in a shop a few years, maybe a few months. Can't have them develop a rapport with us union scum! A lot of guys I talk to around the utility industry say the same thing, these companies today could care less about the customer....... I'll be retiring soon, sure ain't the same industry I came up in!
