Hey Bren, can you take a photo of an overhead transformer from the front, the one looks like theres paddles near the pole,it also looks like there is one centered in the front......but you could almost fit a baseball through that hole,if Im looking at it right.:D

The hole ya see Reppy is a lifting point to enable you to sling the transformer ..there's one either side.
Here's a picture of the old one that we are replacing

Plus " sorry the back of new tranny ".

Have a great break Bren, don't worry about this side of the water... we'll manage to keep the lights on somehow without you.

Obviously the fuse didn't want to fit in the holder if Dave is using the "universal" tool to fit it :D

Safe trip back to all of you, look forward to more pics next year !

You have to start the coach screw with the " persuader " Don't worry he finished it with a 19 mm deep socket...

As long as the lights stay on in Dublin I could care less. :)

Hope you have a steady trip back if you're on the ferry Bren. It's lookin' a little bit stormy on the Irish sea at the moment.

On the ferry this evening...forecast rough crossing. I don't get sea sick as I worked on a small fishing boat for awhile.. Don't think you ever loose your sea legs.

YEAH I WORKED ON A LITTLE FISHING BOAT, STEAMING OUT OF FENIT HARBOUR ,TRALEE BAY ,CO KERRY..

I hated every minute of it.

Thanks for all the good wishes. " BUT" I will be on P.L.M. We do have internet in Dublin. :)
Actually I've much higher speed broadband at home " fibre optic " than in Wales.
