Normally riding in below zero temperatures ain't much fun..but when it's for a good cause it makes everything worth while ..
Fifty or so of us did the annual bike run to the " dublin women's refuge " .. SANTY on a Harley ... Great day out.
Thank god my guzzi,s got heated hand grips. Even snowed as we got to the refuge. The kids were SO HAPPY..." SANTY BROUGHT THE SNOW. :)

Good job Bren, I bet the kids enjoyed all the bikers and gifts.

Zero Celsius right? 32 degrees where I'm from isn't too bad. I spent a New Years morning trying to get my bike started in -2 degrees and met a few guys for breakfast one year. The year I lost my mind. . . . 1980 something:o

Best bike day in years T man... We all do weird stuff. One of the guys had to go home " near the Dublin mountains. "
HE SENT me a picture .......
The kids the refuge have nothing... The mothers had to leave home due to violence, drug and alcohol abuse, and other traumas. The only day in the year that men are allowed in the refuge is when we do the Christmas toy run. They even use all female trades people. Plumbers, electricians and carpenters. So it's a real honour and privilege to be allowed in.
