Let me ask....why cant you use them....and why would you hang them on a pole when you cant use them?....did some safety man show up?.........forgot...you guys aint gots safetyman......maybe I shouldnt have asked.

We don't have safety men.. But we are sub contracting..so are safety audited every now an again by the company that employes us.. ..
we couldn't use the silver looking rollers .. That's why we used the mckessicks I realised that it was too much side tension on the other rollers. They won't take nearly a ton tension.
Also the next span was a road crossing so decided that cation was the better option. The mckessicks are rated at four ton. So used them.. ;)

OK,Cool!Say,have you ever had an insulator tracking either from contaminants or cracked,and current leaked to the channel arms you use?Has to be a nightmare for the trouble guys!!When we were British owned,we used to use those but phased them out after we were acquired by a Canadian company years ago.They used to give us hell with our high salinity environment!

The insulators .. Are all made of some plastic material.. ( the ones over the top obviously) ... And we are on the east coast..( the sheltered side) the insulators on the west coast are different.." Costal spec" .. Bigger insulators hence it takes more salt etc etc to short them out...
