Hey Poot, you is going to like this one.The way I hear it is that the circuit was out for 4.5 hrs....dont they believe in isolating the affected area and getting customers back on.You know how Entergy operates ...did it take hours before lineman were even in that area?I would hope so,they are most likely short on lineman like other companies. From the video...if my eyes are correct. And I hope they are ,it looks like small wire the crews are working on.No way is that a circuit pole in the vid.....take a look http://www.click2houston.com/news/major-power-outage-in-cleveland-area/30929426 and here is another vid from a different channel....its not copper, notice the automatic splice....to me it looked like #2 or 1/0 wire....anyway theres no way they use 1/0 wire on a circuit thats effecting 13,000 customers.....or is it 1,300 cuctomers ?Heres the second vid http://abc13.com/news/accident-knocks-out-power-to-most-of-cleveland-tx/491889/

From the second video it looks like the truck caught a phone or tv cable and that broke the pole doesn't look like he actually hit the pole.

My main question is the wire size.99% of our curcuits have 600mcm,a few with 336....might be some with 4/0 copper. But nothing that small.
