The Scotish lads I was working with...have all been offered a new job with a new company. It's almost exclusively ( what we call "LV" )..
so it's working primarily next to roads from buckets. Refurbing the Lv network.
Its not much different " money wise". A bit more I think. But it's working with my own team
the company I'm with at the moment HAVNT A CLUE...
for example. We've three months of continues shut downs.
3 shut downs a week...... And they've planed them all for Wednesday,Thursday Friday.
So any SNAGS and we run into the weekend. ( plus we like to get away early Friday To get home. ) Stupid stupid planning

the new company are giving us a work pack to complete every week. When it's finished we can go home So we can work late during the week and shoot off Friday if we're finished .

Not 100% if I will move over just yet. But I'm tempted. ;)

To me ,your one ship jumping MF..........Bren,Ive had around 27 jobs in my life....worked with about 6 or 7 carpenters when I was a kid....3 years in the army.....worked with one utility and 4 contractors......the other jobs were $hit jobs not worth mentioning ......so tell me about how many times/jobs you have gone through.......You know I consider myself a Christian, not a great one.....But the good Lord told Noah to build one Ark.....the poor guy would need 500 Arks if you were around.Sooner or later the ships might run out ......you know that, right ?:D

I've been with 8 utilities " so far". Numerous other jobs. Including telecoms rigger, marque erections.. And a few years stage rigging for the big rock bands.

But it that's just the " at height stuff".
Ran a bar in London. , courier driver, construction, right down to grape picking in France.

Keep going back to line work..

Here in the U.S.of A We used to have that million mile b/s program, that the company made up.But the lengths of time you stay anywhere ,you would be lucky to get 10,000 miles on any given vehicle...anyway good luck.......................................once again :D

Nooooo I've an irish bag. ;).
To hell with it I've decided to drop the van back in the morning, the new company want us to start on Friday. They need us to do a course over the weekend so we can get authorized ( so we can start Monday).
