There was a huge abandoned mental health/lobotomy/shock treatment facility where I used to work and there is a really strange looking substation there. The whole place looks like it was transported from the former Soviet Union. Some of the buildings even have 4kv overhead services going right into the building. Spent a couple hours walking around there one day cause the fire department called about a downed wire in there even though everything belongs to the state. Definitely scary construction electrically and just a scary place in general.
