Are you saying you haven't seen a power bank with a lighter?
Go to Toronto and check out the box construction.

That is what Im saying.....it works and if it has to be done ,it has to be done. But I have never seen it done. Can anyone post more pics of this Toronto box construction with two banks on one pole?Guess if need be,there could be a 480 volt bank and a closed delta bank on the same pole.....now I know nobody will post that photo.

No Reppy I don't believe I have ever seen a pole with a primary meter package, single phase pot and a 3 pot bank on it before. I did once see a 2 pot bank with the lighting pot on one pole and the power pot on another pole a span down the line, the open wire secondary's were the tie legs, I thought to myself what a frigging death trap.

Ok let me picture this bank your talking about...so the tie had to be a single wire going from pole to pole. Now either the high leg/wild leg also fed back towards the lighter or the lighter legs fed back towards the power pot.So between spans you had 3 wires between transformers or 4 wires. Its even possible that they had 5 wires between transformers ,because of that tie.

I tried to attach a picture of some of the newer Box construction in Toronto, but I was not able to "get er done."
SO go into Google Earth and search 147 Tecumseth St. Toronto Ontario. Go to the street view and look at some of the newer type of Box construction. There is more older and rattier stuff out there, but this is what I could find easily.
If your interested.
