Finally got my ticket but it says “A” jrnyman. Just wondering why the A is in quotes. Anyone know for sure? Pic is attached.

That looks like a company classification for a Lineman employed at a utility. Seems he’s a BA member.

But the member type is stamped A in the top left corner of the picture. Has to be an A member, correct?

111 has Outside and Utility jurisdictions among other... I still think it is a utility classification. He may be an “A” member paying “A” dues which entitles him to the PBF but not the NEBF.

"A" members have the right to sign (out of work ) book 1 in their home local and to travel to other jurisdictions and sign book 2. "A" members are considered fully trained and qualified to perform any linework from streetlights to distribution to transmission and substations, overhead and underground.
