How much is everyone getting stung for their fuel these days? I filled up with un-leaded at $1.39 a liter ( I think its 4.4 liters to a gallon) and deisel was $1.45 a liter! What a rip off!
About $3.00 US. Someplaces I saw today in Syracuse, $2.88.

Hmm prices are definitely going up in other parts of the world then. Soon you'll be paying the pound a litre it costs to fill my van with diesel.
And that's in Scotland where a lot of the oil comes from in the first place. Maybe we should have a revolt and shoot all the greedy brits and yanks that are plundering our North Sea oil.

Gas around here is $2.60 to $2.87 a gallon for regular.
A couple of days ago a newcaster was interviewing the manager of a refinery about sixty miles from here and he had a couple of interesting points. The man claims that the US burns 84 million barrels of fuel per day. This includes all grades of gasoline, diesel, and commercial jet fuel. The point the man was making was the US, as a whole, can process 85 million barrels a day if every plant is at 100% capacity. With only a million barrel a day margin any event ripples the price. Kinda sounds like refineries are in the same situation as major transmission lines, people want the product built not the facilities. Or at least not anywhere near them.
