who makes the best chainsaw? personally i like stihl

we use stihl for the contractor that I'm with right now(and stihl drills). but at my cabin we have a dolmar. that is a great saw.

Man oh Man is that a loaded question. Its all preference. Stihl, Husky, Dolmar, all great saws its all in what feels good in the hands and more importantly who has the best dealer support the closest to you.

I personally am a Stihl guy too though Although the Husky 372 is one of the nicest saws I have ever ran. They stopped making them at the begining of the year though.

We use all Stihls but as Bulldogge said a big part of that is great local support from the dealer. They fix alot, but they also tell you when it's time to stop throwing away good money on a worn out motor. Our standard saw is the MS260 though we have a couple smaller and a couple larger.
