Comming down from cincinnati to take assesment for FPL wondering if anyone can give me heads up on what takes place and what are my chances. Been journymen lineman for 11yrs for Cinergy/Duke. Looking to make a move now that journymen Lineman are a hot commidity... Hey I know every company out there is turning to shit so if you would leave that stuff out just want info on assesment and what to expect.

You will need to change a tx off hooks using a capstan.

You will need to change a pole top pin using sticks.(off hooks)

You will have to replace a side post insulator using a material handler.

You will have to make up a load break elbow for a urd tx.

You will have to make meter can checks.

You will need to do a pole top rescue.

You will have a written test involving various tx scenarios.

And an interview.

5,000 dollars (after tax) bonus for staying in Dade or Broward county.

Piss and background checks.

How Many different meter checks?

How bad do they need linemen. and if I take or get broward or dade how long do I have to stay there?

Does my time in th IBEW mean anything?

Do You have to Live with in so many miles or so much time from the district?

Durning the test are they looking for mostly saftey or wheather or not you can do the work?i

What type of tx secenaiors on the written?
