I have a cousin that is a missionary in venezuala home for the summer and looking for a 30' or 35' telescopic stick. Anyone have a good used one they would like to sell?

I was wondering the same thing. My imagination runs wild. like the little village that he works in owes money to the local utility and they simply open up the cutouts feeding village untill they pay the bill.

From what he told me when they loose power they are low priority so it is weeks before it is fixed. They call a contractor most of the time to get back on and that cost them big bucks and loose everything in the freezers. There is a lineman down there that said most of the time {lightning I guess} he could get them back on with a stick. I know I can get one from halls or american safety but money is tight. Got to remember this is not America. That's about all I know at this time. This is at a camp.

Hey maybe I shoud keep a pogo around the house. In another couple years, the way thing are going, I might be in the same boat.

I'd hate to know that people were going around throwing in switches if I were on that line. "Dad gum Bob there's the problem! Some idgit has put a jumper between the hot and ground! Let me just take that off with mah stick. Now to throw in that switch... BOOM!!"

I use an old one for my wall tent frame! They work great and will hold up to 20" of wet snow. Better than a lodge pole!

What good would an extendo do if you don't have new fuses to replace the blown one with?

Maybe they're going to use nev-r-blow universal fuses. (copper pipe)

God help the linemen where ever that stick goes! I hear that. Maybe they can sprinkel holy water on it and bless it before each use.
