Actually My Lady, I was lookin for "textures", and ran across it.

Well, at least you stayed with the main subject! When I go surfin' there is no tellin' where I end up at! :D

Here, I want to show you the colored pencil work of my former high school teacher, mentor, and friend. With just colored pencils, she can make ordinary objects come alive.

Yeah well their chopped up paper is very pretty, but can they hang power lines? I rather think not. ;)

This is ART silly man!!! We ain't in the dag gum linework forum Clive! We are talkin' BS about art! That's what some of us do! You would be MIGHTY surprised to know that there are MANY talented POWERLINEMEN that do ART (or some FORM of it)! AND they ain't a bit embarrassed about it either! :p

Swamp, I guess you have to find a piece of paper work that looks like a powerline for Clive. Email the artist and see what you can do, will ya? :D

I bet there are a few on this forum that add a very slight twist of style to their installations. I've been known to go a bit wild with conduit and trunking (raceway) and do electrical installations that are much more stylish than they needed to be to do the job. :)

It's "art" but sneakilly tucked away in industrial environments and only truly appreciated by those who practice the same trade.

Hold on... I'm on it.

So something that represents a topical linework subject with a single sheet of paper and maybe a bit of wire and a couple of incense cones for "atmosphere".

OK..... I give you my artwork... "Chance cutout."

I think you have great composition with alot of texture in it Clive! Great work buddy! :D You think I'm teasing, but you will be shocked to know what is "ART" these days!

THAT Lady is just Incredible LA. Just completely magnificant artwork...and ALL with colored pencil??? Or is there come "computer" stuff in there? That's incredible.

It's ALL colored pencil Swamp! Nothing else....except maybe a blender (a marker that blends the colors together.). I like this one:

Is that not close to realism using only colored pencils, I don't know WHAT is! It looks like a photo shot, doesn't it? I think she has won many awards on that one piece alone.
