Junior member inquiry

I'm curious on how you become junior member, member, senior member and so on. It is question that was bothering me since I signed on.
does it have do do with how many post you put up?

if i'm not mistaken, Junior member is posts 0-29, member is 30-99 and 100 posts and above is senior member.
