Hey guys,I've wanted to break into doing helocopter linework.I have been trying to search the web for company listings but not to much avail.If anyone knows of some companys i sure could use the help.Thanks for your time all and be safe.

Where you at ? I've done a fair bit of work like that ,,,, Contact a local JATC and get into an apprenticeship. Sooner or later you will get on a crew that uses a helocopter to set poles or fly you from tower to tower.Then when you top out you can chase the big bird from job to job. E.S.:cool:

That sweet yah got on. We do lots of chopper work at my utility. We do both skid, and long line. long line has a lot more versitility. do to having a none conductive rope, with bieng able to ground and much more. Were building a new tranny line about 15 miles and already the project is under budget by 45000 and were not even halfway done! way safe and what a time saver. Have a blast brother and be safe.

Anybody know of any Canadian based helo operations? Moving to ON, CA from England in 4 weeks.
