I was wondering if anybody could tell me the proper name of a sight tool used for finding the height of things (guard structures, conductor mid-span, etc.) I remember that they were made of brass and came in a two pack with a leather case, one was a sight level and the other was this thing that I cannot remember what it was called. I was wanting to purchase a set, any help would be appreciated.

This seems like a awesome tool. I've done alot of construction builds. and using the old method, one foot is one degree. So will this tool tell me the deg. of a angle pole.
