Robert E Lee: I know it looks phoney but that just happens to be my favorite general of ALL time!! Certainly the greatest American born General.

"DUTY is the sublimist word in the English language", Gen Robert E Lee.

After that, for me, it's a toss up between TJ Jackson and The (Iron) Duke of Wellington.

Phoniest General of the 20th Century, no question, George Patten. He only came head to head with a real General, on equal terms one time and he got his ASS handed to him. Anyone know who that was??

Rommell...

BTW, you and I have disagreed before on this one but, USG was every bit as capable as Bobby Lee. Bobby Lee didnt listen to his subordinates enough, example, he should have listened to Jim Longstreet at Gettysburgh.

Just got home and took the test moron. Now bow to the KING and kiss my ass.

None other than the grunts general General Omar Bradley. The one that Eisenhower depended on and also kept Patton in check and was promoted over Patton.

Relax Steve, I'm only messin' with you. By the way, Didn't they name a military truck after him, The Bradley Fighting Vehicle? You know, the one that cost about 10 times the estimates to build and that failed miserably in field tests. I might be wrong...
