I had a work with with FPL today. Apprentice lineman in bucket with short hot stick opened the first fuse link and the stinger hit a metal cross arm. Not his fault as the stinger was an inch above the cross arm. Or maybe he should have noticed that. He's fine but he was shook up to say the least.
Point is that this was a 7KV fault, and to see it live was quite impressive. I know you folks see quite a few but this was my 2nd or 3rd in 20 years. Absolutely amazing.
