I have an interview with Southwestern Line Constructors for an Apprenticeship. I was wondering what to expect? I need to know things like timeframe from interview to hire, steps that follow the interview, etc. Also, if anyone is currently working in Missouri Valley what do you think so far? I appreciate any help anyone can provide.

If you're not already in shape...get in shape.....A lot of people have a strange misconception about linework and what we do (they tend to think its easy and everyone can do it..WRONG!)......I don't know if a contractor will put you thru the "boot camp", bu I'd be ready for it anyway.....This is by far the most rewarding, enjoyable job I've ever had and I'm only 3rd class!! I hope you enjoy it as much as most of the folks on here.....GOOD LUCK TO YA.
