Actually,Carter supported the Shah.FAIL! The hostages were a mess for sure,FAIL! but Iran contra was pure Reagan.FAIL! I especially like the funding through drug sales.FAIL! Just say NO! BTW no matter how you look at it he's(Carter) only possibly our second worst president. And since we're on it, we the US have really not done such a good job in the diplomacy dept with Iran for a good sixty years now. Plenty of blame to go a round on both sides of the isle.
