Personal? I think "personal" is when another member (also a Moderator) comes over here and starts shit. Now, that's taking it pretty personal. :D Never been in a she fight and ain't gonna start one now in life.

Now you boys can rough it up all ya want to, but I'll just watch from the sidelines and referee when needed. :D

No need to worry about that!! they've just got a ego deal....they are telecomm pukes cause they couldn't hack it as real lineman!!!!!!:D

What did you say to get that kind of responce Tramp?

By the way 629trbl, I worked harder and climbed 10x's more when I was a telcom lineman.
I like the power gig been here 13 yrs now, but I miss the production work and the sense of accomplishment I used to get in the telcomm. I haven't met any power guys that could handle the work we used to do.
Power is dangerous but try a crnr pole move @ 60' on a 1200 pair cable. Thats where the term "pucker factor" came from.
But don't get your undies in a bind, I'm a power guy now. And I don't mind ridin the basket everyday up to work.

Must be different in different areas. Here in Bama I've NEVER seen the Charter guys climb nor the BellSouth (now AT&T) guys. Some of the contractors that couldnt afford a bucket yea I have. I must never catch them at the right time maybe?

This thread makes me grin. I tell the Boss all the time that you linemen can be a snooty bunch. :D
