I am unsure about the ranger 40 but if it is anything like their mini 33's then it should be top of the line. We have 3 of the mini 33's at my company (1 wheeled with articulated steering and 2 tracked units) and we love them. Good units that actually work. Enough stick to set poles, hang transformers, and if needed even has a pin on bucket that we have used a few times to keep from having unnecesary outages and/or from hanging a diving board. The only drawback is they are top heavy and prone to being flipped if you have the dual tires off or the tracks sucked in on uneven terrain. They operate as smoothly and efficently and seem to hold up well to wear and tear.
