just curious what you guys like cutting the acsr wire with..i use the acsr klein pliers but they seem to cut great when brand new, but get dull very fast..matter of fact, the regular kleins to me are more consistent at cutting wire..so whats your favorites..??

Yup.
Without a doubt. Does anybody use ANYTHING Else?

Kliens still have the lineman on the pole emblazed on their side....

when a lineman asks another lineman for cutters they ask "can I see your Kliens?" they dont ask for pliers or side cutters they ask for Kliens....

shit like that not only makes them the industry standard....

it makes them legendary...

for what it's worth...

We had a sales rep in from snap -on once & he let our foreman try them (9 inch) & he broke the jaw off in front of the rep, that was it for snap-on.

You're right man. BUT...

Tell me something that's better than a set of 9" Kliens for cuttin ...

#0 or #1 hk porter bolt cutters hehe... kinda hard to carry them in your back pocket though...

Use either the D2000 or D213-9NE....in the bucket, I had some 18 inch nibblers...............aka bolt cutters,:) made it easier, as I am losing my grip strength, due to carpal tunnel and other hand surgeries
