Whats with the 345 line that Cianbro is building in VT. Sounds like they should stick to bridges.

Actually AIR-2 is doing most of the work. Cainbro is there in name only. Seems like AIR-2 is doing all of their work on major transmission jobs. In actuallity Cainbro started out as an electrical contractor for all the mills in Maine and then got into the bridge building. It is hard to bid against a company that pays top dollar to a welder( 14.00 ) to build a power line.

Air 2 is out of there now. Irby is in. They had to get them in there to pull wire.

Heard Air2 would never work with a Quanta umbrella company again after the incident in western Ma.

I guess Air2 is only workin with Cianbro and not on the Irby part of the job. I dont think any of them know what grounding looks like they must be gettin eaten alive by induction.Talked to a guy that only lasted a few days for Cianbro, he said there were 3 linemen on the whole job the rest were welders who are not afraid of heights. Hope they make it to the end of the job.

That is pretty much exactly what they've got going on over there.

I heard Air 2 lost a bird over there today. Pilot and one other on board. Both were med-flighted out with non life-threatening injuries, from what I heard. Nothing specific.
