Im needing help on picking the best tension machine for our coop... We have started doing all of our own reconductoring and dont currently have a tension machine which is proably a surprise to most but its the truth we just have to pull in wire in now VERY VERY VERY CAREFULLY with a tractor... i was just wondering what everyone thinks is the best setup... The majority of our work is gonna be single phase 1/0 acsr. Thanks now cause im sure ill get some good info!!!:eek:

Sherman-Reilly. They are a big name in the wire / cable pulling business. They make different styles and different sizes of tensioner/tuggers (pulling rigs).

We are using TSE equipment as well and it seems to be fine. We have used it mainly for 477, but have done some 795 as well. We also use a Spyder system to pull in the bull rope, I am drawing a blank on the brand but believe it is from chance.
