They only made 36 billion in profits the first quarter of this year.



Screw them and speculators. Call your state politicians and demand action against the raping of the public at the pumps. Enough is enough. We need this buying of "paper" oil to stop........Investors selling oil....hmmmmmm......I say a necessity like gas, deisel and oil are not something that can be priced out of reality by greedy mfers out to make a killing.....It was met to help the economy at its conception..........not to destroy it as it is now.

The money they get in incentives and subsidies is obscene. I think we, "the consumer" need the damn subsidies to be able to fill our cars up just so we can get back and forth to work without it costing our first born child.:mad::mad::mad::mad:


The damn pump runs so fast I cannot even begin to stop on a whole dollar or quarter dollar amount.......I refuse to fill the damn thing up.......It's time to take up this fight all the way to the Exxons, Mobiles, Sunocos of the world. Enough is enough.......At this rate I am not gonna be able to afford a loaf of bread in the near future...Most people never look at the big picture.....how these gas prices affect everything we purchase.

I don't think we should tax any business a higher percentage than any other. I think we should eliminate oil subsidies because they can't drill here anyway. Eliminating subsidies helps with the debt, but I don't see how taxing the oil companies or eliminating the subsidies with lower the price at the pump?

I FUKING POSTED A MONTH OR MORE AGO, THAT CONGRESS WAS INVESTIGATING WHY THESE OIL COMPANIES WAS NOT DRILLING, ON OPEN LEASES, IN THE GULF AND OTHER LAND BASES LEASES WHILE CRYING FOUL ON FIXED NOISE. AN ABSOLUTE LIE. WHERE CUTTING TAX PAYER SUBSIDES WOULD HURT THESE CLOWNS DRAWING $60 MILLION PLUS IN SALARIES IS THE BOTTOM LINE AND PROFIT MARGINS. AND YOU AND THE OTHER TRASH ON HERE SURE IS AGAINST BAIL OUTS LIKE GM. TELL ME THE FUKING DIFFERENCE CLOWN. YOU LIVED OFF THEM FOR YEARS WITH YOUR REA BEING SUBBED.
