Actually, a legitimate reference to Nazis is not subject to the Godwin's Law. It can be argued that a discussion regarding racism (and denying obvious racism) would be a legitimate reference.:)

Trojan, I agree it may be controversial to an extent. But in my opinion I believe it is quite fitting here. Like I have mentioned previously, I came to this forum, sat idle a while everyone else freely expressed their ideas, I watched as Steve & Swamp went back & fourth amongst others. Not so much that I was "siding" with one or the other I merely expressed my thoughts, I think quite subtly initially. Then yes I became slightly "wing nut-ish" in some of my posts. But seriously if you cannot say there are some radically liberal folks here, I wouldn't like to see your idea of one.

Also, I do not agree with all conservative philosophies as I have mentioned this before in previous posts. I do not agree with greed (I know how un-capitalistic that sounds eh??) but I cannot understand how someone can live in their 20,000sq house on the hill, numerous other properties throughout the world, jets, yachts etc, etc, then outsource thousands of jobs to India, enabling Mr. Man or the Elitists to line his/their absorbently large pockets... MORE. I am not for raising taxes, although if a company or corporation CHOOSES to do this, its my opinion to tax those organizations to the point it becomes unappealing to make that choice. If I personally had to make the decision or vote for those cuts, only to go home to my prosperity, fully knowing the hardships I personally created or helped to create, I would personally have problems with that. Trust me I am not for the re-distribution of wealth by any means, but to have what around 10% of the folks holding 90% of the countries wealth is admittedly unbalanced. I am all for making millions, billions but not at the expense of the middle class America. Its all about moderation in my opinion, too much power on either side has proven itself detrimental to our country. Although I believe fundamentally, the banks are the true underlying problem throughout the world not just in America. Money has the ability to manipulate, evil manipulation. I have other opinions also but honestly I got my ass handed to me today and frankly, I am tired.

Not trying to play the middle of the road Jack, but I think some folks may not understand where I am coming from. I can go on for hours about what I think is wrong but to label me as a racist or a fascist is nothing short of hilarious to me. Just my .02 :o

You responded to THAT comment (above) and you made the remark in parenthesis, now I am not all hip on Godwin's Law (I assuredly will introduce myself though). I took that as a stab at me, now if that is inaccurate, truly, my apologies. I have a feeling that is not the case though. So essentially, your comment was in effect directed my way to an extent.
