I'm just a wannabe fan only when the playoffs are on and the Canucks are in it. As for the Seattle NHL team, haven't heard a thing. I watched them lose game 7 in 94, that was gut wrenching. Love to see them win!!! Can't wait for game 3....and the crowd goes wild!!!!

Seattle wouldn't cave into the Sonics when they wanted public funds for a rebuild of Key Arena for the prized private suites for the wealthy. I don't see how they could get a NHL team unless Paul Allen is interested, or someone like him with deep pockets. The people won't cough up public funds for it. They have been arguing about mass transit for 25 years while it gets more gridlocked and expensive....
