CVEC will be going to WPFA Jan. 1st 2012. We have several demo models of various systems. I personally will be using the Bashlin pole lariat. However the Cynch-lok by DBI-Sala is imho the best product on the market when it comes to traditional hitchhiking climbing technique.

It has a much greater ease of use than the "bucksqueeze" and requires a lot less work to use.

here is a link for the DBI-sala product. There are several other links you can watch.

Seen one in use this past weekend. Did not look as easy to use as what I'd been hearing about it. It would still get hung up on new poles just like the rest of them. We had 4 or 5 different versions from different companies that we were messing with and trying out. All were a pain in the butt. At the end of the day, it is much easier to free climb or hitch-hike (if need be).

Been using the buck squeeze for the last year sucks at first but its pretty easy to use after you get use to it. I like it were hanging blocks and insulators on 95-110 foot poles off hooks and it makes you feel alot more comfortable up in the air and ive never climbed without also.
