That's a 25 kva transformer . The urd cable is protected by surge arrestors. (lightening aarrestors) it comes from that pole to another pole about 800 yards away. And straight back up onto the new line we are building...... The transformer only suplys a set of traffic lights. There is a lv cablbe from the transformer. There is a fuse between the tranny and the cable. Also a seperate eath (neutral comes off the tank. The urd cable is earthed as well and all the steelwork is also earthed"grounded. So there's 3 seperate earthe" graound" STEEL,surge arrestors and neutral. I will take a pic of the back of the pole tomorow. ;) .... Its only an 11kv line that we are building.

They are great to drive.. Because the trailer drives as well they will go virtually anywhere. I rolled it once and my mate rolled the trailer once. But in a straight line uphill it will go up wet muddy slopes over 45 degrees. Brilliant. ( Does 50mph on the road )

Does the trailer have its own engine or is there some sort of hydraulic coupling?

Just the one engine ( V6 petrol) in the front with "as you said" a hydraulic.coupling to the rear. We've gone up slopes ya can't even walk up. :). Best bit is the heater. Coz its from norway and used to the cold weather , the heater is brilliant. Bad bit is all the switches are in norwegan " app on mates I phone helped us figure out what switch did what.... We've had it 6 months (at £2000 per month) its quite expensive. :). "One track Is. £2000 " so it aint cheap
