Pretty sustained electrical fireworks from a power box in the street. I'm guessing from the accents that this is 240/415 secondary URD burning its way down the cable.

Ummmmmmm kinda looks like water is the only tool in their toolbox and I bleve it made it werse not better , also tells me that the firemen over there aint a bit smarter than the ones over here.

...........you would think they would be trying to avoid all those sparks.......must be no drought over there...............noticed that some smoke was coming from the front door area..........also noticed a well landscaped yard right in front of them..........i guess no shovels on the firetruck for dirt...............wonder if they would do that with 19.9

I'm trying to work out if the smoke at the residence is coming from the eaves or if it's just from the firework show.

It may even possibly be a bit of an overvoltage situation where primary has sneaked through on secondary. I don't think the water was helping either.

There's another video by the same user, but sadly filmed sideways! It reveals a bit more. Still can't work out quite what's going on though.

Seen a 35' aluminum street light pole do that on time, with all that insulation catching on fire it acted like a chimney, it was blowing black smoke out and you could hear that tri-plex inside raising hell, sound was magnified in that hollow aluminum pole.

I actually came across a manhole with feeder cables blowing up, when travelling between jobs. Voltage was 27.6kv and cables were 1000mcm Cu. The smoke rolled outta the hole for a good 10 minutes before the ball of fire that was about 25' high. Made up my mind to never work in a live manhole. Then just a few months ago a friend was working in a live manhole getting ready to pull new cable when a cable started to fault. Everybody got out safely, but they all got a real good scare!!!

Just go on Youtube and tube "manhole explosion" to see lots of CCTV footage of vaults exploding.
