ummmmmmmmmm with this stuff It aint a matter of best ittza matter of wanna make yer lil mouth water or maybe burn? honestly everything they make is wunnerful. I am a huge fan of the seafood seasoning and the bar b que seasoning. The steak seasoning is great and the spicy steak seasoning is also great but use it sparingly til ya getta feel for it.even the generic stuff like pakrika, n onion powder, n such iz excellant. They have several blends of coffee. Dark roast will make a coonass slap his mammy. tween roast is yummy yummy in yer tummy, and stuff like house blend or breakfast blend iz fer sissys like most yanks.

reppy, I saw a cooking show on TV where they took a steak, a dark red one not the bright ones in the store, you have to let them age a bit and let them turn dark, the enzimes start working on them, Then in your grill use real charcoal, not the gas treated stuff, just wood. Let them get white with ash. Take the steak and wipe it with a paper towel to dry the outter surface of the meat. Lay the steak right on the hot coals. The coals won't stick to it and if some do just knock em off when your done. Let the steak sit for 3-5 min per side depending on how thick and how rare you like it. When you get it where you like it, remove it and set it in a 120 degree oven on a rack above a pan and let it rest while you make a salad and maybe a potato, You can season the steak when you serve it. I tried it and it turned out pretty good, but I started the grill in the evening and the sun went down before I put the steak on the coals and there is a lot of fire you don't see in the daylight and it scares the crap out of you to think your burning up an expensive chunk of steak. It makes a real nice crust and the rest time lets the steak stay juicy. I think I used a sirloin steak the first time. It comes out like a steak house steak

ummmmmmm T man is correct about allowing the steak to age a tad. Marinateing dont hurt, The real trick is to Sear both sides of the steak quickly, sealing in the juices. Once thats done it just a matter of cooking it to your desired level and allowing it to rest for maybe 10 minutes before ya eat it.Naturally the cut of meat is also important....... My Favorite is and always has been new york strips.
